Dr. Nassif earned his medical degree from the University of Southern California and graduated summa cum laude. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at the University of New Mexico, where he also served as chief resident, followed by a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Saint Louis University under J. Regan Thomas, M.D.
He is certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Educating the Next Generation of Facial Plastic Surgeons
Teaching and mentorship are central to Dr. Nassif's work. He directs a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship Training Program through the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, sharing his surgical techniques and experience with physicians pursuing advanced training in the specialty.
His academic appointments include Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology at the University of Southern California. Beyond the operating room, he lectures at international medical conferences and contributes to peer-reviewed publications and surgical textbooks. His published work spans rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, brow rejuvenation, and techniques for addressing the aging face.
This commitment to education also includes teaching his signature rhinoplasty technique, extending his experience beyond his own practice and into the training of other facial plastic surgeons.

In 2026, Dr. Nassif was named to Newsweek and Statista's America's Best Plastic Surgeons for the fourth consecutive year, with recognition in facelift, rhinoplasty, and eyelid surgery.
International audiences also know him through the television series Botched, which brought wider attention to his work treating complex cases following previous plastic surgery.
A Surgeon's Understanding of Skin
Dr. Nassif's approach to facial rejuvenation extends beyond surgery. His experience preparing and caring for patients' skin before and after procedures helped inspire NassifMD® Skincare, a line developed from his perspective as a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon.
